Tibet > Kailash Mansarovar Helicopter Tour (13 Days)

This tour is ideal for those devout pilgrims who are short on time or cannot undertake the grueling journey over the Tibetan plateau due to age or other health factors. They will fly on Fixed Wing aircrafts operated by a private airline Kathmandu / Nepalgunj / Simikot and Nepalgunj / Kathmandu sector. The chopper meets the group at Simikot and ferries the client to Hilsa. The land cruisers drive over a week from Lhasa to meet the group at Sher and drop them back to Sher.

Day 01 : Arrive to Kathmandu

Day 02 : Kathmandu Sightseeing Kathmandu

Day 03 : Fly to Nepalgunj

Day 04 : Fly to Simikot by air and acclimatization

Day 05 : Fly to Hilsa by helicopter drive to Purang

Day 06 : Acclimatization at Purang

Day 07 : Drive to Manasarovar Lake and parikrama

Day 08 : Puja and holy bath drive to Darchen

Day 09 : Drive to Darboche and Walk to Diraphuk

Day 10 : Walk to Khando Shanglham

Day 11 : Walk to Darchen and drive to Hilsa

Day 12 : Fly back to Simkot – Nepalgunj - Kathmandu

Day 13 : Fly back to Home

Highlander or it’s Tibet counterpart agent shall not be responsible for any alternation or cancellation of program due to any unavoidable circumstances beyond our control such as road blockade, landslide, snow, political unrest cancellation of flight, helicopter mechanical problem, delay arrival, sickness or accident. Any extra cost incurring there of shall be borne by the clients on the spot. Since Tibet is very remote place and road are very rough sometime good vehicle may broken.
